To design an Olive Mill to be used for traditional and new-age olive oil production.

OLIVE MILL DESIGN PROJECT OUTLINE

• 350sq m extension to Sileni Winery – to be used as an olive commercial and training facility.
• Office facilities.
• Integration of state-of-the-art Olive Mill production and traditional oil making methods.
• Architectural features of the Sileni Winery reproduced to reflect the symbiotic nature of equipment used in wine and olive oil production.

LHTDESIGN’S SCOPE OF WORKS
LHTDesign closely worked with Village Press management and Amtech Construction to facilitate simple construction. This helped achieve the stringent timelines established to facilitate maximum use of the off-peak period in the winery industry.

LHTDesign’s role included concept planning, discussion with client and Amtech Construction, setting up project deadlines for Olive Mill design and documentation.

OUTCOME
A leading olive production facility, catering for the gourmet New Zealand and European markets was the result of meticulous planning by the client along with resourcefulness of Amtech Construction and simple yet cost-effective Olive Mill design from LHTDesign.
