BRIEF
To provide efficient designs for the specialist needs of wineries and control construction for site works, buildings and plant structures.

WINERY DESIGN PROJECT OUTLINE

•  A total of 2500sq m of building construction, typically with specially designed concrete floors and precast concrete or polypanel walls. 
• Tank room for 13m high x 6m diameter tanks.
• Extensive tank foundations and walkways.
• Receival ramps, in-ground receival facility, marc bins, canopy covers, services and pipe bridges, press foundations, processing hall, boiler rooms, etc.
• Amenities building. 
• Siteworks, retaining walls, effluent disposal, etc.

LHTDESIGN’S SCOPE OF WORKS
LHTDesign generally carried out the design and documentation of the winery design projects and oversaw construction.

OUTCOME
The projects were completed on time and to budget despite working around an operating winery and incorporating its existing buildings, services and plant.  Materials and construction have proved to be durable in a winery environment and the buildings are operating efficiently.
