As principal consultant, LHTDesign led the project team (including John Loughnan Mechanical Engineer) and controlled and coordinated the development of the concept, documentation and administration of construction.
LHTDesign also had particular responsibility for building design, civil and structural engineering, fire safety and water quality.
The original budget was set at $2.6M, however, half way through the documentation, the budget was reduced to $2.1M due to withdrawal of some funding. Despite this, LHTDesign was still able to provide the client with the pools, structure and plant they required to a high level of design and specification. The project was completed in August 2000 on time and within the revised budget.
The completed swimming pool facility fully met the design, functional, and financial requirements of the client.
