As principal consultants for this $5M swimming pool project, LHTDesign led the design team (including ASC Architects, John Loughnan Mechanical Engineer and Premier Consultants) and controlled and coordinated the development of the concept through to completion of the documentation and tendering. LHTDesign also administered the building contract.
Within this arrangement LHTDesign also had particular responsibility for civil and structural engineering, fire safety, hydraulics, and water quality.
The swimming pool project was completed in April 2003. It has set a new standard for hot pools and integrated wet and dry fitness facilities catering to both the local community and tourists.
