BRIEF
To create an aesthetically-pleasing yet functional amenities block to meet the Orchard’s needs to attract good seasonal staff.

AMENITIES BLOCK DESIGN PROJECT OUTLINE

• New 240sq m building links to the existing pack house and is adjacent to the new cool store.
• Facilities in the amenities block include seating for 80 people, kitchen, sick bay and male and female toilets areas. A verandah on two sides of the building provides additional external seating for staff.

LHTDESIGN’S SCOPE OF WORKS
LHTDesign worked closely with the owner to provide an architecturally pleasing but functional space.

Throughout the building project, LHTDesign utilised economic design and documentation methods and maximised the use of steel frames. Practical and effective detailing was provided to suit the construction methods employed and to obtain the best value for money.

OUTCOME
The new complex has been positively received and enthusiastic reviews from the owner and staff.
