To design and manage the construction of a Napier transport depot for Peter Baker Transport, on behalf of Redline Holdings.

INDUSTRIAL BUIDING DESIGN PROJECT OUTLINE

• 1250sq m warehouse with precast concrete walls and steel roof cladding.
• 750sq m drive-through canopy.
• 150sq m office and amenities.
• Provision included for 800sq m warehouse extension.
• Sealed manoeuvring and parking yard for mix of vehicles from courier vans to B-Trains.
• Truckwash facility complete with grease and grit traps.

LHTDESIGN'S SCOPE OF WORKS
LHTDesign initially advised Redline Holdings on the design and layout of a new 7ha industrial subdivision in Onekawa, Napier.  The detailed subdivision design has been undertaken in conjunction with TCB of Wellington.

The $900,000 Peter Baker Transport facility is one of the first developments on the subdivision.

LHTDesign prepared preliminary concepts and estimates and managed the project right through to handover to the tenant.

OUTCOME
The project was completed to a very tight time schedule and handover of the buildings was successfully made on the specified date.  The project was delivered well within the initial cost estimates.
