To carry out the design and provide documentation and project management services for a 100 carpark extension at Hastings City New World on behalf of Foodstuffs (Wellington) Co-operative Society Ltd.
- 100 new carparks in 2500sq m area.
- Associated stormwater drainage, vehicle crossings, garden and paved areas.
- Minimal disruption to existing carpark operation during busy pre-Christmas construction period.
LHTDesign carried out the consent and tender documentation process for the removal of existing houses on the site.
LHTDesign also prepared the carpark design and documentation for Resource and Building Consent applications, plus called tenders and provided project management for the contract.
The successful completion of this $250,000 project, on budget and on time to meet the parking demands of this busy supermarket for the Christmas rush, has lead to further work for LHTDesign on the same site.
