BRIEF
To design and project manage the construction of a new driveway, courtyards and garage to replace an existing driveway obsolete due to subdivision of the property.

PROJECT OUTLINE

  • New garage constructed to marry in with, and complement the existing house.
  • New stormwater, water and telephone supplies.
  • Exposed aggregate concrete courtyards and parking areas with hardwood inserts.
  • Exposed aggregate driveway.
  • Plastered block entrance walls.
  • New power feeds with garden lighting to edge of driveway.

LHTDESIGN’S SCOPE OF WORKS
LHTDesign prepared plans and specifications and then applied for the necessary Building Consent, called tenders, monitored construction and approved progress claims for payment.

OUTCOME
The resulting high quality finish that complements the existing home has pleased the owners who appreciated having the concerns of managing the project handled for them.
